MASTER OF ARTS IN THEOLOGICAL STUDIES
    AND APOSTOLIC CATECHETICAL DIPLOMA

    Online courses may be applied towards the Master of
    Arts in Theological Studies degree with a concentration
    in catechetics. Presently no more than 20 credits of the MA’s
    required 42 credits may be earned online, but we expect to
    have a completely-online MA program by the end of 2010.  


    Courses for the Apostlic Catechetical Diploma (ACD) are the
    same as those for the MA, and students may earn both
    simultaneously or either without the other.  The Advanced ACD
    requires a bachelor’s degree, but the Basic ACD does not.

    EDUC 631: Teaching the Faith, Part 2
    EDUC 602: Catechetical Tradition
    EDUC603: Methods and Norms
    EDUC 605: Liturgy and Sacraments
    EDUC606: Apologetics
    PHIL 602:  Philosophy of God and Man
    PHIL 603:  Philosophical Errors
    SCRI 606:  Old Testament
    SCRI 607:  New Testament
    THEO 601:  God the Father
    THEO 602:  Christology
    THEO 603:  Holy Spirit & Ecclesiology
    THEO 604:  Moral Theology

    Students who wish to earn the MA and/or ACD must have a
    bachelor’s degree and be admitted to the graduate school.  
    Degree/diploma candidates must maintain a “B” average
    (3.0), and degree candidates must pass the comprehensive
    exam after completing all required courses.

    ADMISSIONS/REGISTRATION
    A simplified admissions procedure makes it easy to start. To take
    course, students simply need to fill out the admissions form and
    register for the course they wish to take. Those seeking graduate
    credit (towards a certificate or degree, or for transfer to another
    graduate school) must provide proof of a bachelor’s degree. For
